The Block 2025 is here: Equal starts, epic finishes

BLOCK25_TALENT_LINEUP_HR 1.png

The Block 2025 premieres this Sunday, and includes some major changes to the competition.

The 10 contestants build houses from scratch that are exactly the same in layout and size. They begin with only the frame completed.

Individual design will determine who wins each room, ensuring contestants will need to “produce something spectacular from week one” according to host Scott Cam.

Each of the five houses offers a generous 346 square metres of living space set on over 2,300 square metres of land.

The homes are located in picturesque Victorian spa town Daylesford.

Bunnings has teamed with The Block 2025 as official D.I.Y. partner. Contestants are able to access an on-site Bunnings mini-store and nursery to grab supplies and advice during their renovation work.

Do we have dedicated Blockheads in the Bunnings Workshop community? What do you most like about the show?

Re: Calling all Blockheads: The Block 2025 kicks off Sunday

Jason, can't wait for the show mate! Big fan and have been since the get go. Good to see you guys on board for this years series and l'm loving the fact that it's in Daylesford which will be very interesting. I drove past the site a few months ago and tried to get a sneak peak through the fence but couldn't see a hell of a lot so looking forward to seeing how it all turns out 👍😁

Count me in as a fan. I'm hoping to get some good insights and ideas

I want them to give ideas on outside living, which is where I'm spending a lot of my time 😂

Which couple do you think will win at this early stage @DIY4Knuckleheds? And which house would you have picked if you had first choice?

G'day Jason...lovin' the show so far but if l was to make an early call l'd have to go for Robby and Mat. Not sure about their secret weapon though 🤔🤔 House wise l would have for Number 1 for sure followed by 5 👍😁🇦🇺

Good early call @DIY4Knuckleheds. Robby and Mat won week 1.

What did everyone think of the bathrooms? You can check them out on the Bunnings website along with how to get the look.

Got lucky on that one Jason 😂 I know editing has a lot to do with it but the boys seem to be able to handle the stress a little easier than the other contestants 🤔

Another week down.

Brit and Taz took the win for their main bedroom. The couple’s theme was modern organic luxury, and it was achieved through a soft, creamy palette layered with textural elements, such as gold wallpaper and a custom-made curvaceous bedhead in a luxurious golden velvet.

Check out all the bedrooms on the Bunnings website.
