Hi, currently my cistern is leaking into the toilet bowl. I believe it's due to the seating washer which is quite worn. I'm having trouble finding the correct fitting seating washer and looking for some advice. It is a duel flush toilet. The marking inside cistern says GWAIL (which I believe is the brand) and toilet was installed in 2001/2002. The size of the washer is 27mm interior hole and 68 exterior (I'm not sure if it stretched over time) also please see photos below. Thanks in advance, any advice would be much appreciated

Re: How to choose a seat washer?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @JudithH. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about replacing a toilet washer.

Your easiest option is to take the washer to your closest Bunnings store; a helpful team member can match it up. Washers stretch quite a bit, so you'll look for a slightly smaller one. It's likely to be this FIX-A-LOO Seating Washer or Kinetic 65mm Doulton Seating Washer.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi MitchellMc, Thanks so much for your advice. We've changed the washer (used a Fixaloo washer). All is good now and no longer leaking.
