I'm hanging a Leifheit Telegant wall-mounted dryer (https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B000JG1KP4/ref=cm_cr_arp_mb_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8) It comes with two screws fixing into brick or tile. I am going to be fixing to a fibre cement laundry wall. Hoping for a stud but not guaranteed. The screws have an unthreaded bit at the top like a wood screw and then like a Truss head. They need to sit about 2cm out of the wall when fixed because the dryer has a key hole type mount. So the question is, what type of drywall anchor might be suitable in this scenario?
Hello @boscage
I propose looking at the Ramset 3 / 16" x 75mm Plasterboard Spring Toggle Anchor - 10 Pack and the Cobra 6 x 60mm Anchor Flip Toggle Screws - 2 Pack. These are all hollow wall type anchor systems and if you happen to miss a stud they will work with hollow walls.
I also suggest having a look at this guide: How to hang just about anything by @Adam_W.
