  • IMG_9016.pngHi I had leaks at the bottom of the sink tap mixer , also where the shower hose came out of tiles and at the bottom of the gooseneck bath spout .Replacing the cartridges has fixed all but the bath spout . I then replaced the bath spout o rings . I couldn’t get the cone shaped cover off I dont know if this is relevant . I have plumbers tape and plumbers grease I’m yet to try . But it’s a fairly decent leak more water leaks than fills the bath
  • im not sure why the cartridge replacement hasn’t worked
  • can someone explain what else I may need to consider please
  • the leak occurs when the wall mixer is  turned on for the water to flow no leak otherwise
  • a previous post by another member said only 2 O rings not 3 as the lower one is for the grub screw would this apply here as well
  • okay I left the third O ring on as the groove above the 3rd O ring lines up with the grub screw and the half circle brass thing then put plumbers grease on and lots of plumbers tape now it’s not leaking but I haven’t put the half ring and grub screw back on
