How to replace batteries for Ryobi drill press laser?

Can anyone help with info on replacing the battery’s on the Ryobi drill press RDP102L laser

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Jockster. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about replacing batteries.

I note the RDP102L does not have details in its manual for changing batteries. However, I've located the manual for the DP102L, and it shows them located under the upper cover, beneath the belts. I imagine the same would be true for your model, so if you could check there, that would be a good start. If the battery compartment is not located as per below, I'll contact Ryobi today to verify its location.

Just a quick update on my RYOBI RDP102L drill press laser issue, after talking with Ryobi, I can confirm no serviceable battery’s are fitted to this model drill press, the advice given was they are now inbuilt into the laser heads, replacement lasers are no longer serviced as a replacement part by RYOBI
