Help! What type of Grass/s do I have

Hi All,

Just moved into a new house. Looking to get some weed n feed for the lawn but unsure what type as I seem to have multiple varieties of grass and don't want a dead front or back lawn 🫣

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

When it comes to weed-n-feed products, the main grass type you need to look out for is buffalo, as standard weed-n-feed products are incompatible with buffalo grass.

With this being said, you appear to have a mix of predominantly buffalo and couch, which means you would need to use a buffalo-specific weed-n-feed such as this Yates 2.4L BuffaloPro Weed 'N' Feed Hose On Weed Killer.
