How do I choose the best garden edging

How deep do I need to dig to install garden edging

Is it better to dig trench from inside garden bed or from lawn side.

Hi @Christine12,

You're not going to need to dig a big trench, so it won't really matter too much.

Just dig a trench exactly where you want the garden edging to sit, and then backfill it once you have put your edging in place. Vegetation will grow back, so I wouldn't worry too much about that either.

If you are using edging with pegs, install them before backfilling the trench.

Is it worth spraying the trench with weed killer
