Hi Team
I saw on the forum recently the advice RE getting an adaptor to allow you to water your balcony garden from your kitchen sink.
I got the Pope 12mm adaptor from Bunnings...and the Pope 15m hose set which is a 8mm hose as well. The 12mm adaptor goes into my kitchen sink no worries once I've removed the usual tap fitting, but connecting the adaptor to the 15m hose set is proving the issue..I assume due to the 12 vs 8 mm difference, unless I'm missing something?
Is there another item I need to get to make this work?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @CAAW. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about hose connections.
Was it the Pope Indoor Tap Adaptor and Pope 8mm x 15m Spiral Hose Set that you've purchased? If so, regardless of the hose thickness, the click-on connectors are compatible. As you're not attaching to a garden tap, you'd need to remove the grey garden tap fittings from the click-on fitting, allowing you to then connect directly to the tap adaptor. I've circled them below.
If these were not the products you've purchased, let me know.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
