So I made a rookie error and used weed killer on my weed infested lawn. Lesson learnt. How do I go about resowing my lawn? I know this will take some time and I’m happy to be patient with the process.
Hello @phiaxs
Thanks for sharing your question about your lawn. A similar question was asked earlier by one of our members, I suggest having a quick look at the discussion - How to revive lawn after using Zero? by @SandraSP. Looking at the photo you posted, it appears that only several sections were heavily sprayed, and the other parts still look good. The suggested solutions were to spray the area with Seasol tonic every few weeks to possibly help in the recovery. Repatching or replacing was also suggested as an option.
Here are some handy step-by-step guides:

Hi EricL
Thank you for your comment and suggestion. Hope the lawn will be better later.

Hello @SandraSP
Rookie error. Not the first time I've seen it and won't be the last. Feeding it with a plant tonic as suggested below is certainly going to help.
Can you share what herbicide you put on it? Something like Glyphosate (Round-Up or Zero) are contact herbicides so will be less of an issue. If you used a path weeder or something that is going to stay in the soil - that will require a different treatment. Let us know and we can respond accordingly.
