How to save hedges from turning brown?
Recently replanted some hedges but it appears to be turning brown. How do I save them ? I have watered with seaweed solution to hopefully give them a boost before the heavy rains

Re: How to save hedges from turning brown
Hi @vng,
You might like to read through this helpful guide: How to diagnose a sick plant. I suspect that this could be a case of poor drainage and the plant having wet roots or underwatering. What's the drainage like in the area, does the soil remain constantly wet at root level even between waterings, and how often are you watering the plant? When were they planted, and when did this browning first start occurring?
Although Buxus are hardy plants that can be cut right back, it appears that this plant is in a fairly dire situation, and I would expect it to perish. Do the rest look similar?
Let me mention a couple of our gardening experts @Noelle and @mich1972 to get their thoughts.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
