Hi All,
I live in an apartment and have a hydroponics set up (NFT) out on my balcony.
I would like to create an easier way to fill my reservoir than what I'm currently doing which is filling a Jerry can with water over and over and filling my res that way.
I was thinking of popping a pump in my bathtub and pumping it out that way but wanted to see if there was other options.
The bathtub-pump idea may be more difficult because the tube that connects the pump is flexi tube and not easy to manoeuvre. Perhaps there's adaptors I can get to connect a hose?
Cheers!
Hi @itsangus,
Another option would be to connect a hose directly to the bathtub spout. If the spout on the bath has a threaded aerator, one of these Pope Indoor Tap Adaptors could potentially be added to it which would allow you to click on a standard garden hose.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
