How to treat browning leaves?

Hi, the majority of the leaves of several plants in my garden have started to brown from the edges, eventually dropping off. See photos. Any ideas what the reason for this may be?

Re: How to treat browning leaves?

Hi @Leigjar,

Browning leaves that start at the edges and eventually drop off can be caused by a few common issues. It’s often due to environmental stress, like prolonged dry weather or overwatering, leading to root rot. It could also be a sign of nutrient deficiencies, salt build-up in the soil, or even fungal infections, depending on the plant type and conditions.

To help get a clearer picture, could you let us know what the weather has been like in your area lately — has it been particularly wet or dry? Are the affected plants all located in the same part of the garden, or are they spread out? Also, what types of plants are we dealing with? If possible, could you share a few more photos of the other affected plants so we can see if there’s a pattern?

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mitchell
