Protect drawings on wooden plant markers

Protect drawings on wooden plant markers

My little nephew helped me design some herb plant markers. Is there something I can spray them with that would protect the drawings from the rain and sun, but not add anything harmful to the soil?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Marybeth. It's great to have you join us and many thanks for your question.

What a fantastic little project for you and your nephew to do together. I'd recommend applying a few light coats of Rust-Oleum 298g Satin Clear 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint to preserve those designs for many years to come.

Once the spray has dried nothing will leech out of it that is harmful to the soil.

We look forward to hearing what other projects you have going on around your house and garden and would encourage you to let us know if you ever need assistance or would like to share with the community.

See something interesting? Give it the thumbs up!
