Re: the machine wa functioning fine unfortunately I turned it off from the mains but never switch...

I'm sorry to hear that, but if your Ozito pressure washer is still under warranty, @Johnnyred, Bunnings can definitely take a look at it and potentially swap it under warranty, but we will need some proof of purchase. Even if you don’t have the physical receipt, you may be able to locate the transaction on your credit or debit card. Once you have that, the store where you purchased the unit can verify the purchase and assess it under warranty.

From what you’ve described, simply turning the machine off at the mains without using the power button on the machine shouldn’t have caused damage. Before heading to the store, try plugging it into another power outlet to rule out any issues with the socket or tripped breakers. If it still won’t power on, then bring it to your nearest Bunnings with whatever proof of purchase you can find for a warranty assessment.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi @Johnnyred ,

From what you said I am pretty sure the pressure washer is working OK but... I need check a couple of things.

As @MitchellMc mentioned test the power point by simply plugging in something else like a hair dryer.

If power source is OK.

Make sure washer is turned off and plug into power point - turn on power.

Connect garden hose to washer then go back and fully turn on the garden tap.

When you go back turn on the washer it should SQUEEK and HICCUP a bit.

Operate the lance and the washer should function normally.

Please let us know how that works out for you.

Cheers
