How to install Practa basket slides?

how do you disassemble the runners to install on base of cabinet?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @wendy9. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about installing pullout baskets.

Was it these Practa Solutions 410mm Base Mount Slide Out Baskets or similar? It sounds like there might be a bit of a snag, but from what I can see, when you pull the basket out to full extension, it should give you access to both sets of mounting plates — as shown in the attached video. I don’t believe you should need to disassemble the runners to mount them. Did your unit come with any instructions? If not, we can try to track some down for you.

Thank you for your reply MitchellMc. It was a Base Mount Slide out Basket 490mm, and step 2 of the instructions says “Disassemble the drawer runners”. I was unable to do this, but my husband managed to lever the base of the runners from the top sections of the runners so base could be screwed to the cupboard using the supplied fitting, then the top section of the runners attached to the basket, and this was then attached to the base of runners.

It would be great if a video for this product could be produced.
