How to obtain sealer tape for cooktop?

I am installing a new kitchen and purchased the cooktop and oven from Bunnings.  It was the 'builders pack' as well as selling the house and didn't want to spend to much.   It is Bellini brand.  I accidently disposed of the packaging before the installation was complete and threw out the sealing tape for the cooktop.  What is the best way to replace it?  I have googled some tapes and unsure of heat resistance etc.  Any help is appreciated.

Re: Sealer tape for cooktop

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @TimL1. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about sealing a cooktop.

For your situation, it’s really safest to use the original sealing tape that came with the Bellini cooktop. The tape is specifically designed to handle the heat and create the proper seal, and using anything else could risk damage to your bench or the cooktop itself. Your best move is to pop into your nearest Bunnings and speak to the Special Orders team. They can contact Bellini through the spare parts team to see if they can supply replacement tape.

Generic foam or double-sided tapes aren’t suitable because they won’t withstand the heat from the cooktop and could melt, shrink, or fail over time. While it’s a bit of extra legwork, getting the correct tape ensures a proper seal, protects your benchtop, and keeps your installation safe and compliant. You could also check with the in-store Kitchen Expert; sometimes, they have spare packs lying around that you can use immediately.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
