Hi brains trust
I have 2 different coloured laminate bench tops in the kitchen of my rental! Same with the cabinet doors 😳 so I’d like to know if you can reface laminate with laminate film? The dark bench top is awful! It scratches easily and never looks nice so I want to change it to match the wood grain one on the other side and the cupboard doors to black like the other side
Hi @onthetools54,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
You might like to have a look at the discussion Kitchen benchtop refresh, where this topic is discussed.
Since this discussion, there are new options in store, such as the Pillar 0.45 x 2m Beech Woodgrain Adhesive Furniture Film, which could be used to resurface your benchtops.
Alternatively, you could look at painting the benchtops using the Dulux Renovations Range Paints. Check out How To Paint A Kitchen Benchtop With Dulux for some guidance on the process.
If you wanted some assistance from a professional, there are companies that specialise in kitchen benchtop resurfacing, so it might be worth contacting a business like this in your area for their assistance.
Let me know what you think and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Jacob
Thanks for the info Jacob, I’ll definitely check it out 👍
