I want to upgrade to modern Style
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @aby366. It's great to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about replacing tapware.
Your older setup can be unscrewed and swapped out quite easily once you’ve turned the water off at the main. There’s a good range of off-the-shelf parts that will fit the same thread and spacing.
Since you’re looking to improve the style, I’d also recommend upgrading to half- or quarter-turn ceramic disc taps — they’re much smoother and easier to use than traditional washer taps. If you take this photo of your current setup into your nearest store, a Plumbing team member can walk you through the options and help you choose a set that fits both your wall fittings and the look you’re going for.
If you'd like to browse now, you'll find that most wall taps and wall spouts can be retro-fitted onto your wall.
Bear in mind that you are allowed to change tap washers yourself, but replacing taps entirely is something that requires the assistance of a plumber.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
