Hello.
I’ve been desperately trying to find tutorials on how to remove stem from vertical blinds (I’m not even sure that’s what you call it) since a few of mine are broken. I tried to see if there’s something to press to dislodge it but I can’t seem to remove it completely. There are some videos on youtube but they have a different type of ‘carrier’ from mine. Does anyone have the same type as mine and if so, how were you able to remove them? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!
Hi @Purple289,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
If you look at the end closest to the wand control piece, there should be a cap on the end of the rail. Generally, you need to remove the end cap of the blind so you can slide it off the rail.
If these were Bunnings blinds, we may be able to assist with a replacement part, but unfortunately, we do not carry generic replacements. If you can identify the producer of the blinds, they will likely be your best option for finding a replacement.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
