How to fix chipped plaster?

Hi! My little one chipped off a little bit of plaster and would love some tips on how I can fix this myself. Thanks

Re: How to fix chipped plaster

Hello @brookex

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's wonderful to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your chipped plaster.

I suggest cleaning the surface of the damaged area with a bristle brush to make sure you remove all the lose plaster and debris. I then recommend using Parfix 500g Ready To Use Multipurpose Filler - 500g in combination with 100mm Sharp Edge Paint Scraper to shape and cover the damaged area. Once you have formed the general shape of the corner, I suggest letting the filler dry off and wait until it is totally cured.

I then suggest sanding the surface into shape using a sanding block and 240grit sandpaper. Clean the surface with a damp rag to remove all the sanding dust before you paint the surface.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Eric
