hi all, I have started hybrid flooring yesterday.
one issue I come across was laying it under/around the bottom of the door frame ( image attached).
I saw people cutting the under frame using multifunctional tool. I am trying to avoid this although that loHks totally professional.
is there other ways as well? Using some sealant or is it possible to use scotia?
if silicone sealant, which one I should be using ?
other part of the hybrid flooring around the edges will be under the skirting board, so that not issue.
please recommend some solutions.
Hello @Sugar
I suggest using coloured silicone so that it will not interfere with your doors opening function. I suggest looking at Sika 300ml White SikaSeal Kitchen And Bathroom Silicone Sealant. My best advice is to get the colour that is closest to the colour of your floor. Putting skirting board or trims near the door frame might potentially get in the way of the doors function.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Thanks @EricL
Actually I found the solution and mentioned in my new project post here : https://www.workshop.bunnings.com.au/t5/Living-and-Bedroom/Walk-in-wardrobe-renovation/m-p/288265
