Re: painting a glue infused wall

Hello @losullivan1964

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your glue infused wall.

Before you begin, I suggest having your walls surface tested for asbestos. Especially if your house was built from the 70's or 80's. If the results are positive, you'll need an asbestos removal specialist to remove the asbestos. if the results are negative, you can continue your renovation plans. I suggest using an orbital sander to remove the glue from the wall.

In regards to the paint, I suggest using Dulux 1Step Prep Primer, Sealer & Undercoat 4L to prime the surface and Dulux 4L Vivid White Low Sheen Wash&Wear Interior Paint as topcoat.

If you need further assistance, please let me know.

Eric
