Re: Is this right for nbn?

Hi @jirawat,

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. We trust you'll get loads of help and inspiration for all your home improvement projects from our wonderful members.

What you have there is an old telephone socket. When you choose an NBN provider, they will organise the installation for you. The technology used depends on what is available in your street. It is certainly not something that is a D.I.Y. project - a licensed professional is needed.

All the best,

Jason

Re: Is this right for nbn?

Hey @jirawat , @Jason is right, the NBN installer will change the fitting over to the correct one depending on 2 things 1. Either being Fibre to the Node or 2. Fibre to the Premise.

If FTN they will replace that with a RJ45 plug if that is the first point.

If FTP they will install an optic fiber cable direct to a NTD box.
