Thank you in advance for you advice. We had a new pool deck put in 4 months ago. The boards are as pictured - Merbau Pre- oiled. The deck has now had time to weather and the oil/tanins to leach out.
I am looking to marry the deck up with the rest of the deck around the house which already has feast watson Merbau timber and deck stain.
Can you advise on the recommended preparation process before applying stain. I was planning on useing the feast watson wood prep. I have had conflicting advice though on whether i need to sand the deck given the manufacturer pre- oiling. From a smoothness pov/sanding is not needed
