It reached (briefly) 48 degrees C where I am.

I won't be eating it - but I'm slow cooking an egg outside.

It was baking temperature here in Brisbane. Saturday, Sunday, Monday absolutely no wind just steady heat. I was thinking of investing in a blow-up pool just to cool off in the evenings.

Try to keep cool everyone and stay hydrated!

I think you are on a desktop computer and if that's the case with [Num Lock] ON, hold down [Alt] and on the numeric keypad enter 0,1,7,6 to produce degrees symbol - °
