How to adjust Bunnings modular sofa plans?

20_03_Modular_Outdoor_Setting_step18.jpgHi everyone, I really want to make this modula sofa from Bunnings plans but I only have room to make one chair and one foot rest, any ideas how I can work out how to adjust the required materials to do that? Being that I have very basic skills, hoping @MitchellMc perhaps you can advise? Thanks! Link below

Re: How to adjust Bunnings modular sofa plans

Hi @joineryjo,

It appears you would need:

  • 90 x 45mm at 450mm x 8 for the legs.

  • 90 x 45mm at 580mm x 2 for the backrest.

  • 90 x 45mm at 575mm x 4 for frames.

  • 90 x 45mm at 440mm x 4 for frames.

  • 60 x 19mm at 575mm x 4 for subframes.

  • 60 x 19mm at 420mm x 4 for subframes.

  • 86 x 19mm at 620mm x 4 for backrest slats.

  • 86 x 19mm at 529mm x 12 for seat and table slats.

Keep in mind the base of the table and the chairs are exactly the same. The only difference is the chair has the backrest added.

Please let me know if you need further information or had questions. We'd also love to see the results of your project when you are done.

Mitchell
