Hi all,
Thank you all in advance.
I am thinking to extend my driveway to be able to park two cars without concreting. My option is to use the pavers like in the picture attached. It will be only used if I have no parking in the street or if there is guest.
Thank you again

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, @sambhusth007! It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about extending your driveway.
To ensure your new driveway section can bear the weight of a car without subsiding, you'll need to properly prepare the base. Start by compacting the ground thoroughly, as this will prevent the pavers from sinking under the car's weight. I recommend hiring a compactor to achieve the necessary level of compaction. After the ground is compacted, add a layer of road base and compact it again for added stability. Then, you can lay your pavers on a bed of sand.
For more detailed guidance, here's a helpful step-by-step guide on How to lay paving for a path, which can also be applied to your driveway extension.
