Just finished assembling a 3x3 meter mimosa pergola with adjustable louvres & am having trouble getting the first louvre to fit. It is jamming & not allowing the other louvres to close. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Robert.
Hi @Robert68,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
Can I trouble you for some closer photos of the louvre that is causing issues?

Looking at step 7 of the installation instructions, it sounds like you may have overtightened the nut or possibly left out the plastic spacer.
Either of these things could cause the mechanism to bind, which can prevent the louvres from moving.
I'd suggest that you check that the spacer is in place and the nut hasn't been overtightened.
Let me know how this goes and report back if you don't have any success. I will happily assist further if required.

Hi Jacob,
I've gone to my local bunnings to have a look at a pergola fully assembled & have seen that I've placed the top rails on backwards.
The instructions were a little difficult to interpret but now that I've rectified the fault it's working like a treat.
Cheers Rob.
Hi @Robert68,
I thought it would be something relatively simple, and I'm glad you managed to work it out.
I hope you enjoy your new pergola.
