Hello, complete newbie to DIY here!
We have recently installed a colorbond fence and am looking to install a digital entry lock to the fence.
I'd like to know which product would fit well (I have seen this one https://www.bunnings.com.au/ikonic-satin-chrome-digital-entry-lock_p0755180?srsltid=AfmBOorFkbe6_8w5...)
And also, what tools do I need to do this?
Morning @Noyade
I havnt seen the fine print... mmmm If that was the case then maybe a hard wearing grommet could be put in? or the hole itself enlarge so the wire wont touch the edge?
The "side access" issue I had thought of as well
But figured maybe something was outside the photo to stop it ![]()

I hardly ever read the fine print @Dave-1 - always been my problem financially.
I'll start another thread with my gate.
See if we can overcame the steel issue.
Cheers mate!
It would probably be the way I would tackle the project too @Domkhedun

Thank you everyone for your helpful comments. The fence installers have attached the keypads successfully (charged me through the roof). And yes, to whoever mentioned the issue around security, thieves can quite easily access one of the "locked" fences by reaching around to the lock quite easily. That said, my other half wanted piece of mind - oh well!
