How to fix caravan roof join?

Hi guys, where the pod goes on top of roof of caravan.

The join has become crackly.

The pod goes over the top of the roof for about 14cm.

What would you suggest be the best fix for this please?

When you say crackly, do you mean that that area has become brittle and is easy to break? My first suggestion is to contact the caravan manufacturer to find out if there is a replacement part for the deteriorating piece. Would it be possible for you to post a closer photo of the damaged area. It might be possible to use another material such as aluminium, but we'll need to see if there is any spot in that area to anchor onto.

Hi @margiemh a close up pic of the problem would definitely give more help to the problem.. if your van is still under warranty id contact the supplier also.
