I'm considering laying some concrete pavers as a floor, for a storage space under our house under the bathroom.
The house has bluestone foundations and the clearance under the floor is just over 1.0 m. It has an open entry point for access and is well ventilated.
Is it OK to cover the soil in doing so or does the soil need to be left exposed?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Joseph15. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about laying pavers.
I can’t see any issues with laying pavers in that space. The main thing to check is whether there are any pre-existing moisture issues, such as flooding or areas where water tends to sit.
If the area stays reasonably dry, laying pavers over the soil should be fine. However, if there is water retention, covering the soil could prevent it from drying out as quickly. In that case, you might want to consider adding drainage to help evacuate water from the area and keep the pavers dry and in good condition over time.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
