I need to put in place a chute for the compost toilet preferably black approx 200 mm diameter about 400mm long
I have thought about black buckets or planter pots with bottom cut off but they generally are not long enough and would need joining
Hi @esckay,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you join us.
I've had a good look, but unfortunately, I can't find anything that perfectly matches those dimensions as a finished product.
I think a bucket, like you have mentioned, would be the closest option. Either this Icon Plastics 9L Round Heavy Duty Plastic Bucket or this 20L Pail Bucket seem like good options that are relatively cheap.
There are also these Ezy Storage 60L Assorted Colour Round Flexi Storage Tubs. You could cut out the bottom and then cut the side so you can reduce the diameter, then attach the edges to each other at the correct diameter using something like a rivet.
You could also use this same method with a sheet of Metal Mate 0.5 x 300 x 900mm Plain Aluminium Sheet.
I'll mention the other options I thought of, but they may be cost-prohibitive.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Jacob
