I would like to re oil my deck as it doesn’t look the best. Any advice on products and how to do this. I do have a karcher.
Hi @tanyag,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
Looking at the condition of your deck, it is quite weathered, which unfortunately, you wouldn't be able to remove with just a Karcher. I'd suggest the best place to start is by sanding your deck. Check out How To Sand A Deck for some guidance on the process.
Once sanded, you would give the deck a good cleaning to remove any sawdust or remaining dirt. Check out How To Clean a Deck for some guidance on this process.
After sanding and cleaning the deck, you would apply your choice of oil using a decking oil applicator. Check out How To Oil Your Deck for guidance on this part of the process.
Have a read through these articles and let me know if you have any specific questions about the process. I'd be more than happy to assist further if required.

Do u recommend sanding it first or cleaning it first ? Should i hire a floor sander to make it easier on me
Hi @tanyag,
If it is heavily contaminated with dirt and organic materials, it is worth giving it a clean before sanding, as this will gum up the sanding pads and reduce their ability to sand.
Looking at your photos, they don't seem too bad, so I'd say you'd be fine to skip this step before sanding.
It would definitely be worth hiring a sander, as sanding the whole thing with hand-held power tools would be extremely taxing on your body. This Orbital Floor Sander would be the way to go.
