Re: rust marks on driveway tiles caused by weed killer granules weed and feed

Hi @musama,

It looks like the orange marks on your tiles and render wall are likely from the iron in the weed and feed product you used. The first step is to try the gentlest cleaning method. You can start with hot, soapy water using a stiff-bristled brush to scrub the affected areas and see if the iron stains can be removed.

If that doesn’t fully work, you could use a pressure washer to help lift the deposits, but keep in mind this will clean the treated area more thoroughly than the rest of your paving, so you may need to consider washing the surrounding areas as well to even out the appearance.

If neither of these methods removes the stains, there are stronger iron stain removers available, but it’s important to be cautious with these so you don’t risk damaging the tiles or render. Start with the mild approach first, assess the results, and only escalate if necessary.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mitchell
