Hello @Wally47

There are three possible reasons why your cycads are yellowing. Their location is either not exposing them to enough sunlight, the soil has runout of nutrients and needs to be fertilized and improper watering. I propose using Scotts Osmocote 1kg All Purpose Controlled Release Fertiliser to provide nutrients for your plant.

In regards to the other cycads with the fronds turning brown, poorly draining soil can cause leaf discoloration including browning to the tips of the leaves, yellow discoloration to the leaves or even leaf collapse. Cycads die from rot if you have poor draining soil. Clay soils are notorious for this. If the plant is in a container, I suggest changing the soil.

Let me call on our experienced members @Noelle and @mich1972 972 for their recommendations.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
