Hello all
Just wondering if someone could tell me how long the Wagner 100 needs to be charged for before use?
Also how do I know it’s charged fully?
Brand new purchase and a tad nervous to use on a fence using a clear varnish.
Cheers
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Cozzianne. It's splendid to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about Wagner spray guns.
It wasn't the Wagner 18V W250 by chance? The Wagner W100 Wood And Metal Paint Sprayer is a plug-in 240V version with a cord. If it is the W250, then you would charge the battery until you get a solid green light on the charger. Charging times will vary depending on how much the battery was depleted.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell

Hi there MitchellThank you do much for a quick reply but it’s definitely the “ Wagner 100” with a chord.
Wish I had bought the one with a battery now so I can charge it with all my other Ryobi tools.
Hi @Cozzianne,
Since you have the Wagner W100 Wood And Metal Paint Sprayer, which is a corded paint sprayer, there is no charging time as it does not have a battery.
You will need to grab an extension lead so it can remain plugged in while you are moving along the fence line.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Jacob
Hi Jacob
Thanks so much for the message which helpful. I do have the orange 20 metre cord but the picture on the box and demonstration doesn’t show any extension cord attached to the tool.
Maybe I’m blind.
Hi @Cozzianne,
If you did want a cordless sprayer, you could always return it and use the exchange credit on something like the Wagner 250 that Mitchell mentioned above, or this Ozito PXC 18V Paint Spray Gun Kit PSGK-250.
Unfortunately, Ryobi does not currently have a cordless paint sprayer in its lineup, which is a shame considering you have other Ryobi tools.
Whatever you choose to do, I am sure your fence will come up wonderfully, so please upload some photos when you are done, as it would be fantastic to see the result.
