Safety when using ladders

I find that climbing a ladder is no issue, it's coming down the ladder is when I sometimes miss the last step coming down the ladder, so to prevent missing the last step, I place red tape on the first step at each side of the step, see photos, hope this helps, it just helps as a reminder and to see the step.
