Side of the road treasure

The finished chair sits proudly on the front deck of my house (see picture of waterfront cottage) alongside a similar one bought from bunnings.

Hi @Christine66,

 

This is a great upcycle project you have tackled! Was it hard to cut the timbers to suit the curved top? Upcycling is one of the categories in this year's Australia's Best DIY, would you like me to enter this project in for you?

Hi Katie,

No It wasn't hard to cut the curve. I taped each piece in place then marked it with a pencil, removed them, and used a jigsaw to cut them.

I have entered the competition with my whole of house reno but I would be proud to have another entry, thanks.
