Re: Side of the road treasure

Hi @Christine66,

This is a great upcycle project you have tackled! Was it hard to cut the timbers to suit the curved top? Upcycling is one of the categories in this year's Australia's Best DIY, would you like me to enter this project in for you?

Re: Side of the road treasure

Hi Katie,

No It wasn't hard to cut the curve. I taped each piece in place then marked it with a pencil, removed them, and used a jigsaw to cut them.

I have entered the competition with my whole of house reno but I would be proud to have another entry, thanks.

Hi @Christine66,

Wonderful! I have entered you in. A jigsaw does sound like the perfect tool to make this project happen. Thank you for sharing.
