What paint for patio ceiling?

Just wondering, is this exterior paint suitable for patio ceiling 
Taubmans 4L White Gloss All Weather Exterior Paint

Thank you for your question about what paint to use for your patio ceiling.

Being in an exterior location, you would have to use an exterior paint such as Taubmans All Weather, however you wouldn't typically use a gloss paint. Gloss paint has a highly reflective finish. On a ceiling, this reflection tends to highlight every bump, joint, roller mark and small defect in the plaster. Ceilings are rarely finished as smoothly as walls because they are harder to work on, so a glossy finish makes imperfections far more noticeable.

For this reason, I would recommend using something with a matt or flat finish, such as this Taubmans White Matt All Weather Exterior Paint.

Just wondering is 'Dulux 300g Metalshield Multipurpose Spray Paint Manor Red ' suitable for this patio floor?

Hi @kavi,

No, Dulux Metalshield is a metal paint which is not suitable for painting floor tiles.

The only paint I am aware of that can be used on floor tiles, unfortunately, cannot be used outdoors.

If you'd like to change the look of your patio floor, you may need to remove and replace the tiles with other outdoor tiles or paint the concrete beneath them.

Unfortunately, there is no paint that is suitable for painting outdoor tiles.

As mentioned, your options are removing the tiles and replacing them, or removing the tiles and painting the concrete with a concrete paint.
