hi lovely community, I’ve scraped all of the moss from between these old pavers and I’m going to use a Bunnings cleaning product. I think it’s a 30 second one, to clean them and then use a Karcher to get them clean. My question really is what kind of sealer can I use on top so they don’t get so dirty again. I do have some Crommelins sealant in the shed which is for aggregate driveways so maybe that would work? And how many days between Karchering and applying the sealant?
Hello @jacqui2
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about sealing your concrete pavers.
The use of 30 seconds and a pressure washer should yield excellent results. The Crommelin DiamondTough Exposed Aggregate & Polished Concrete Clear Sealer is aimed more for driveways and polished concrete surfaces. I propose looking at the Crommelin 4L Water Based Paving Sealer or the Crommelin 1L Natural Finish Penetrating Sealer and Water Repellent.
I suggest allowing the paver to totally dry out in the sunshine for at least 3 days to make sure that the surface is totally dry. If painted too early, it can cause cracking and stripping problems on the paint surface.
