hi guys, any suggestions how to recoat a pressed concrete patio,it is concrete that looks like floorboards.i don't think the builders put any sealer on it when they did it,so after 8 years there is a bit of wear of it.
Could you just paint it like any other concrete floor?
You can test whether it is sealed by just putting a little bit of water on the surface and seeing if it absorbs. If it beads, then you will have to get rid of the sealer before doing anything else.

thanks marty, water doesn;t bead,so obviously they never sealed it,so i guess to get the effect that i want,i will have to just paint it and then when it is dry,i will have to do the wood grain effect in a darker brown then seal it.
