When you need inspiration, motivation or advice for a project around the house and garden, the Workshop community will be here to help.

Our amazing members have shared many clever and creative projects this year, and we thank all Workshop members who have shared their experiences and the results of their hard work.

The good news is that most of this year’s most popular projects are not only very affordable, they are also quick and easy to achieve. It's no wonder so many Workshop members and visitors to the site have been inspired.

2. Planter boxes by @LePallet

These two 2.5m planter boxes by experienced woodworker Rylie were fitted over an existing garden bed and lined with builders plastic reading for planting.

3. D.I.Y. artificial plant wall by @Nikkaz

Workshop member Nikkaz had just created a wonderful outdoor entertaining area, but needed to do something with a boring brick wall. He created a striking feature using a mesh panel, some cable ties and Un-real artificial hedging.

9. Merbau feature wall with vertical garden by @weekenddiyer

New Workshop member fairbaba created screening for a water tank that doubles as an attractive outdoor kitchen with built-in vertical garden. A brilliant result completed over a single weekend by a self-confessed “newbie” to D.I.Y projects.
