Can you trim a Hume internal door to fit?

I’m wanting to replace all the internal doors in my house. My house is old so I’m needing 810x2020 if I purchase the Hume 2040x820 am I able to take 5mm of each side of the door and 10mm off the top and bottom?

Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is great to have you with us.

To meet the terms of their door guarantee, the advice they give is that no more than 3mm can be removed from any one edge.

For this reason, I suggest you contact the Special Orders desk at your local store who can order doors to size for you.
