The quick answer is no, plascourse (Damp Proof Course or DPC) is not typically needed in standard internal walls, as it's an external wall component designed to prevent rising damp from the ground. While internal walls can experience moisture problems, these are usually caused by other issues like condensation or leaks, which are addressed with different methods, such as improving ventilation, sealing leaks, or using damp-resistant coatings on plasterboard or masonry.
