Flyscreen spacer

Hi there,

i just made fly screens for some windows. I’m out by maybe 50mm on one of them though - see photo. I was wondering if there’s like a spacer or something I can put in between the window frame and fly screen to get the screen more flush? Sort of like a spring.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Cheers!

Re: Flyscreen spacer

Hi @DesmondC,

Are you out 50mm or 5mm? If it's only 5mm, you might like to consider inserting some weatherstrip into the gap. They are made of flexible foam material; you'll be able to squeeze them into the area, taking up the excess room.

Please let me know if you need further help or had questions.

Mitchell
