Just Starting Out

Gallery@Home hanging system

A friend recommended the Gallery@Home system to me. I have installed the track for the hanging system, but there are pieces left over. The instructions are not clear nor detailed. A diagram to name the pieces would help.  It took me a while to work out there are 2 pairs of ends. Nice to have the spare "pixies" (name given to me by a Bunnings assistant)  and plugs and screws for the track installation.

Now to the hanging - hard to work out what to use.  I mistakenly purchased a packet of 2 x 3m nylon wire, way too long ( who has ceilings that high) so i had to chop a lot off. Even the 2m nylon line is way too long, what a waste. It would be more convenient to purchase a packet of say 3 or 4 nylon lines of 1-1.5m, with the hooks.

Now I have three artworks hanging, i will admire and consider whether I will get more of the tracks for elsewhere in the house. As quite a few other people have mentioned, a joiner for the tracks would be good.

I am quite experienced at flatpack assembly so I would recommend better instructions with naming the pieces.

Thank you. Leonie
