Hi, I have rendering that is crumbling away in a small corner near the driveway. Most of the pieces of render are still there, but it doesn't fit back together.
Underneath is cement / Besser blocks
Any suggestions on how I can do a quick and easy fix?
Thank you!
Hi @stanley44,
Thank you for your question about repair damaged render.
I'd suggest having a look at How to repair a rendered wall from our experienced member @Nailbag as he uses the materials and approach you could in this situation.
Start by tidying up the area and removing any of the render that is loose. You can use one of these Josco Hand Wire Brushes for this part of the job.
Once tidied up, apply Polyfilla 500g Exterior Brick and Render Masonry to the area with a 100mm Sharp Edge Paint Scraper then allow it to dry overnight before painting. If you don't have any of the paint that was used on your exterior, you can take a chip of render in store to colour match.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
