Hi all looking for some help with an issue please. My house has grout that has broken away between the floor and walls in the lounge room and couple other areas. Apparently back in the day they use to grout up to the skirting boards rather then grout to wall then add the skirting boards like they do now. Wondering how to fill gap with out it looking bad and really noticeable. Any help would be appreciated.
Hello @roger85
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about the gap in your flooring.
If the gaps are not bigger than 5mm, I propose using Selleys 475g No More Gaps Interior Multipurpose Gap Filler. Since it's white it should blend in with the skiting board you currently have. The other option is to install an 18 x 18mm 5.4m White Moulding Pine FJ Primed Quad in front of your existing skirting board.
The timber moulding can be fixed in place using Selleys 320g Liquid Nails Construction Adhesive and small nails to keep it place until the adhesive cures.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Thanks for the fast reply the gap is about 5mm to 7mm. It hast fallen out the entire way. Would it look better if I painted the skirting board a similar white before hand or paint it after silicon has to laid?
Hi @roger85
I suggest painting it after putting the silicone in so that the silicone surface gets painted in as well.
