How to fix widening gap between door frame and wall?

hi - this is an upstairs door in an inner west terrace house. we had a hairline crack between the doorway and wall, which i opened up to fix. it appears there is a gap to the wall, and the gap is widening based on the gap having been filled with more and more filler over the years.

looking for advice on how to fix or even how best to fill / adhesive the gap. thanksIMG_8571.jpegIMG_8572.jpegIMG_8573.jpegIMG_8576.jpegIMG_8577.jpegIMG_8579.jpegIMG_8580.jpeg

Re: door frame gap to wall - appears to be widening

Hello @dzg

Thanks for sharing your question about the gap between the door frame and your wall. It is a bit of a worry when this particular gap keeps getting wider. I propose getting a builder to start with and have them investigate the possible reason why the gap is increasing in width. To temporarily cover the gap, I propose using Selleys 475g No More Gaps Interior Multipurpose Gap Filler

Here is a handy step-by-step guide: No More Gaps - Tips For Applying Gap Fillers
